Location and Travel

The program will be held at The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center, one of the largest university-based conference center hotels of its kind in the country. The Penn Stater, part of Penn State’s Innovation Park, features renovated rooms, extensive meeting facilities, and excellent restaurants.

A limited number of rooms have been set aside at the conference location, but additional room blocks have been reserved at other area hotels as well. Contact the hotel of your choice, per the details below, to make your room reservation. Be sure to identify yourself as a participant in the Transportation Engineering and Safety Conference. Reservations should be made at least 30 days prior to the start of the conference.

The State College/University Park Airport (airport code: SCE) is located near the conference site. Call 814-865-5511 or visit the State College/University Park Airport website for information on flights. We recommend that you make the State College/University Park Airport your final airport destination. Please inquire with your hotel if they offer courtesy airport transportation. Taxis are often located outside of the airport baggage claim area, curbside.
