Speaker Bios

Steve Bair currently serves as the Fire Director for the Centre Region Council of Governments in State College, PA. In this role he is responsible for the Alpha Fire Company, the Centre Region Fire Marshal’s Office, and Centre Region Emergency Management. Steve has served as a chief officer for 23 of his 37 years in the fire service and has served three departments in two states. He holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Fire Administration. He is a designated Chief Fire Officer and has completed the National Fire Academy's Executive Fire Officer (EFO) program.
